wskrsnwings - 30 day old E17 & E18 are beginning to flap their growing wings enough that we can see it from the ground. Before the eaglets learn to fly they have to build their upper body strength by exercising their wings. The eaglets are lifting and flapping for very short periods now but in 2 or so weeks will wildly flap their wings and jump up and down. This is fondly referred to as ‘wingercizing’. Harriet & M15 spent time away from the nest hunting and securing their territory. M15 tried for prey in the pasture but was unsuccessful. He returned later with a roadkill rabbit and fed the E's while Harriet flew off once again to secure their territory.
