wskrsnwings - Harriet flew past the nest tree to the SE without stopping but M15 landed in the nest tree before realizing Harriet was not "working" on the nest this am. He quickly flew to join her. They never returned. The red-shouldered hawks flew after one another and even hunted for food on the underside of the nest. A belted kingfisher and flicker were seen too. A short visit to yonder pond showed the water area remains the same as the surrounding land continues to be developed for a new housing community. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
